Spring calving at Stella Manor went smoothly this year, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Every calf was born naturally without any help, showing how strong and healthy our herd is. It’s always rewarding to see new Black Angus calves running around the pasture, full of energy.

Healthy Calves Growing on Pasture
Now that calving is over, all the mothers and calves are out on pasture, enjoying fresh grass and open space. We believe in raising our cattle naturally, letting them grow in a low-stress, healthy environment. So far, they are all doing great, staying active, and gaining weight as expected.

Next Steps: Artificial Insemination
With spring calving behind us, we’re getting ready for the next breeding cycle. In the coming months, we’ll be using artificial insemination (AI) with sexed semen to carefully grow and improve our herd. This helps us plan for future calves and strengthen the best traits in our cattle.
Building a Stronger Herd
Our goal is to keep improving the genetics of our herd while maintaining healthy, well-balanced cattle. By using AI and focusing on selective breeding, we can ensure strong bloodlines and high-quality animals for years to come.
Stay tuned for updates as we continue working on our breeding plans and watch our herd thrive!
